The Fairfield Heritage Prevention Coalition (FHPC) is a community-based organization dedicated to addressing the menace of youth substance abuse and promoting healthier lives within the African and African American communities of Fairfield, Ohio, through community collaboration, to reduce the same to the barest minimum.
Our focus is on community collaborations and engaging with police, parents, churches, religious organizations, youth, and schools to promote activities that bridge the gap between our youth and our elders.
Our Coalition is unique due to our collaborative approach to ALL prevention activities and services. We take a team approach, which allows our programs to be successful by reducing burnout for our volunteers and staff. Additionally, our approach allows our youth to have a voice and role at our coalition meetings and events.
